The Windows 10 upgrade has a solid reputation for corrupting your existing software.
Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair)?

thanks for your thoughts, but yes I did try the repair.... then I bought Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus..... same problem
