Thanks Paul. That deleted it. It never occurred to me that safe mode would defeat the UAC system. Interestingly, in Safe Mode with the command prompt the folder did not even exist. I had to go to the simple safe GUI mode to delete it. Glad I didn't pay Microsoft $99 to do it for me. Zimm
