When making several vectors between processes in Visio, I have found that my charts sometimes have the rare case where a database gets data and sends data, or sometimes two processes communicate between themselves until something is set riget or a data format is approved by two different persons.
Anyway, in order to represent a process with many entry or exit points, one needs to put an anchor on the edge of that square representing a process in Visio. I have done this on the desktop version of Visio (albeit it was a long time ago I do not remember the steps) but I wonder if it is possible to do this on the Web version. It would be good it I could. Can I? |

It appears that we don't have many Visio users on this forum and it would be unlikely that you will get a response to your question here. I don't use the Web-based version so I have no idea on its capabilities but I just gave it a quick try and it appears to be a very light version of the desktop app and there is no obvious way to add connection points to shapes. I can't find a shapesheet view either so you might be out of luck without the desktop app.
I would recommend you post your question on other forums where you might get a better informed response. If you do so, please post a link to that thread here so future users with the same question can collectively learn.

The online version comes in two versions, Plan 1 and Plan 2. If you haven't paid your money then you are probably on Plan 1 which is certainly very limited and probably does not allow you to add or modify connection points. I would expect Plan 2 to allow you to do so though. I haven't used it and have no intention of doing so. That's my plan. |
