Default Make "automatic" dimensions show all the time not just when editing

Hi,

Probably something that has been asked many times before sorry. When editing a floorplan in Visio 2016 Standard, the dimensions of the objects I have added (e.g. walls) do not show as standard. However if I select those same objects, or start editing an object, the dimensions suddenly show.

There must be a way to make these data show all the time?

Thanks

Alastair
