After further experimentation, I've discovered that the Window and Door shapes etc. are apparently intended to be placed on top of Wall shapes rather than be connected to the ends of walls. This makes sense since it actually is a single wall that windows are installed in, even though in 2D it looks like otherwise.
Can anybody point me to documentation that I could have consulted to learn this as an alternative to the trial and error experimentation I had to conduct? |
