oh, I did not see that it is possible to attach files here
 Thank you once again, Jim. But what if my shapes are for example arranged like in the attached file. I want the dotted line like the red line excluding shape No. 4. For many reasons I do not want to re-arrange the shapes. Do I need to build an own shape that fits exactly in the red line or is there a simpler way? See attachement
