Duration help (Quick question)

Hi, Doing my uni coursework and creating a project plan and have a problem. Not very technical so i have uploaded an image to help explain the problem.

The problem is the duration for planning and design have hashes in them where they should read the days liek the other two. I can't edit them as they seem locked?

Any help?

The column needs to be widened. It is too narrow to show you what is in there.

. I'v sorted it by changing dates and tasks.

Hmmm, not sure what you mean. You should be able to point to between column names, get a two-headed arrow and drag to widen a column.
