Default Adjust a linked task duration when Predecessor and Successors change

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to automatically adjust the duration of a task if its predecessor and or Successor change. For instance I have to hire a vessel to load out some equipment and maintain the vessel on site to return the equipment. If the tasks the equipment is required for take longer (or shorter) than originally planned then the duration of the hire of the vessel will change. In excel it is easy as the the duration can be simply calculated by subtracting the finish date and time for the end of the voyage to port from the initial mobilization date. At present the duration does change only the start or finish date when changing FS, SS,SF, etc.
