I've replicated your question in MSP 2010 and the finish date changes with duplicate resources.
Maybe check that you've got "auto-scheduled" task mode for the task and not "manually scheduled". =jerome Planners' Place |

Thank you very much for taking the time to write me your reply to my question. I verified and the task is in auto schedule mode, so I believe it is a Project 2010 bug related to Task type since fixed work task type is not behaving as expected.
