I need to have a field in project which works something like "VLookup" in excel.
A colleague of mine in Norway has a spreasheet of resources on a different server from my file (thougha ccessible by me) with each resources current status and other information. I'd like to have a custom field in my resource sheet which looks up the information on each resource, depending on an ID number common to both my project file (resource list) and my colleagues XLS spreadsheet. (Which incidentally is password protected to edit, but not for read-only). The spreadsheet changes all the time, so I need this to be a "live" formula, rather than a one-time lookup. thanks Guy |
