Hi Terrance,
thanks for your reply, I guess i did not explain it the right way. I will give you a simple example. We want to build three tables. First we set up the workflow for one table: (Boldt is the summary task) build table leg1 leg2 leg3 leg4 plate finish Then we copy the summary task and rename every summary task: build table 1 leg1 leg2 leg3 leg4 plate finish build table 2 leg1 leg2 leg3 leg4 plate finish build table 3 leg1 leg2 leg3 leg4 plate finish In Gantt view or in the different table views we can show the column "summary task name" which helps to differentiate the subtasks. But e.g. in team planner I can not see which "leg1" task is meant. All of them look the same. With such few subtasks it is not a problem to rename them. But what if I build 100 tables or I have many more subtaks in a summary task? Maybe there is a better way than renaming every single subtask? |
