Hi Julie

Many thanks for your response. I have changed the "Start in" to point to the "new" Global template. However it is still picking up the custom fields from the "Standard Global Template".
what I am trying to do is set up a template just to use for comparing two versions of the same plan. This is because we currently use some of the custom fields that the "Compare" function uses, so we dont get all the comparison results we need. So I created a new Global in the hope that I could remove any custom fields from that template and just use it for the compare function.

Hope this clarifies what I am trying to do.

Thanks

Tony
