Hi there,
I have a number of tasks in MS Project where I need to assign multiple resources but I don't know how to configure this so the cost comes out correctly. For example I have a task where I know we have 20 days to complete it. I also know the task will be 280 hours of work in total. I have therefore set this to a 'fixed duration' task type at 20 days duration and 280 of work. With the resource availability i know one resource will spend 144 hours on this and the other 136 hours during this 20 day period. When I assign two resources it automatically sets the units per person as a percentage. Is there a way I can just manually enter the number of hours each person will do? I need to do this so my costs add up. Perhaps I have configured this wrong? Thanks for the help |
