Copying bar style in different views

I have given colors in my bar style in the Gantt view but it doesn't translate over to Calendar view.

Is there a box I need to click so the formatting I did in one view is copied over to another view?

Formatting is per view and the Calendar view does not offer any where near as many options for bar formatting as the Gantt chart views do.
