John Franklin is on a distinguished road
Default 12 hour work days (shifts)

I am using Project 2003
We do 24/7 plant outages. I have my Timescale set up, thanks to you, with the bottom tier at 2-12 shifts, and the middle tier set up to show this in a single calendar day. This is as I want it to show.
Now, when I enter the task duration, in the Task Duration dialog box or on the Task Pane columns, I get issues. If I show a duration of 2 shifts or 48 hours I get a nice activity bar that shows that. Same thing for 72 hours or 6 shifts. All is copasetic. But when I enter 3 shifts (36 hrs) I get a nice 4 shift or 48 hr task bar.

I have the task information set to Fixed Units, and Effort Driven, and Finish as Soon As Possible.

When I edit the Activity Bar, it affects the data in the columns as it should.

What am I missing or not doing correctly.

Oh, I also have the Project Information set up on 24 hrs.

I am guessing the solution is similar in later versions. If anybody knows the answer, thanks for the help in advance.
