Question How to help - Project 2007 - Scheduling tasks during specific windows of opportunity

HELP!! We have formal scheduled meetings and change windows for tasks.

Example: Change control meetings always occur on Thursdays. I have mixed duration deliverables to be completed before going to "approval to proceed" meeting. I create critical-path milestones for the meeting. If i get everything done on Friday, i still need to wait until following thursday before any additional work can continue. If i finish on Wednesday, however, the next day i can go to the meeting.

I have several bureaucratic approval "gates" to jump through, each with unique schedules. Is there a way, other than creating a bunch of special calendars and assigning tasks to those calendars to build the window/wait times into an individual task?

Thanks for your help!
