Split Gantt view like an Excel spreadsheet

We have a project plan that contains about 2,000 rows. It would be very helpful to split the Gantt view horizontally, similar to how a spreadsheet in Excel or a document in Word can be split. Our goal is to see two different sections of the Gantt spreadsheet at the same time. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
