When I open the Gantt Chart View of a project then there are currently some columns on the left and the Gantt Chart on the right.
However there is sometimes a (big) space gap between the right-most column and the Gantt Chart part. Ok I can drag the vertical border so that both parts touch each other. But the next time I open the project again the gap may re-appear. How can I tell MS Project 2007 to always automatically let the Gantt pane start initially immediately right of the column part on the left? Peter |

Hi Peter,
I'm afraid I don't quite follow your question. Are you saying the split bar keeps moving or the Gantt chart is scrolled so tasks are not visible? The Gantt chart should open to the view arrangement it was left in. If you are seeing large gaps, is there a gap between your project start date and the first task(s)? If you press CTRL+ Home and then ALT+Home after opening the file, does that resolve it? Then save, close and re-open -- does it still work? Julie |
