Default How to let the Gantt chart always initially start after the last column on the left?

When I open the Gantt Chart View of a project then there are currently some columns on the left and the Gantt Chart on the right.

However there is sometimes a (big) space gap between the right-most column and the Gantt Chart part.
Ok I can drag the vertical border so that both parts touch each other.
But the next time I open the project again the gap may re-appear.

How can I tell MS Project 2007 to always automatically let the Gantt pane start initially immediately right of the column part on the left?

Peter
