Default Can I automatically save mpp files on a Project Server to 'shard docs' or elsewhere?

Hi,

I have multiple project schedules saved on our central project server.

Is it possible to somehow automatically save these files to another location periodically?

My reason for asking is that within project you can save baselines (& indeed you can save interim baselines as well); what I would like to be able to version controlled snapshots so I can see how things have progressed.

Is this possible; & if so how can I do this?
