Generally assigning resources to summary tasks is not recommended. Consider using the "Contact" field or a custom field to store your name.
If a summary task has a milestone (zero duration, zero work) which has not been marked 100% complete -- the summary task will stay at 99% complete. There may be a hiccup occurring that there is still not 100% complete of work on your assignment even though there is no work. Try using another field for lookup for you -- and do not assign yourself (or anyone) to summary tasks.
