Should have been possible to specify a template's language
As far as I have found out the language setting in Office is either connected to all documents the user can made (the default setting) or to a specific character in a document (or document if you selects all and then set the language). This is made for a user using only one language, but for many user that use two or more languages this can be frustrating.
This is manageable in Word, but in PowerPoint it becomes a problem when I switch between two languages from presentation to presentation. When I insert a new slide the language is often not what I wanted and I have to manually set the language for the text boxes on the slide. I have made a template where all slides are in my desired language, but nevertheless, I get wrong language setting when I insert a new slide. I have also tried to set the default language when I start with a new presentation, but it seems having no effect when inserting new slides. It is not possible to set the default language without having an active presentation. I think that would be natural.
Could anyone give me a workaround? Or can the PowerPoint-team/Microsoft make it possible to connect the language setting to a template? Thanks.
