Hello, you might want a language pack?
I work in French and English with PowerPoint and it works perfectly for me without having to set manually the language. Hope this help,

Thanks, but I'm afraid that's not helping me. First, I use Office Mac 2011, then as I understand it, language packs helps for spelling and menus. I prefer using the English version of Office, but make presentations both in English and Norwegian.
