Please help. I'm very new to MS Project and have been asked to set up a QA Project resource alignment effort.
Essentially I need one Project that shows: Each project on the annual alignment: Project Name Projected available QA Start date Projected QA End date = (Available duration in days and/or hours) QA Estimate/Effort in hours Assigned QA resource(s) for each project QA Start Date QA End Date Assigned daily QA hours to the project To show: - Hours remaining to QA - Hours remaining of QA In addition - a place where each analyst can update daily hours spent on QA to provide % complete. (Hours performed vs. QA est./effort) In the end to show allocation (annually) by project and/or resource. So I was thinking of creating a Parent task which is essentially the project "Project 1" with sub tasks "Project 1 - Resource 1" and "Project 1 - Resource 2". This way I could do a report on the task Project 1 or tasks %Resource 1 I really hope someone can help! Thanks in advance. |

You've posted this to the PowerPoint Forum. But I'm in the same boat you are so I'll be following your posts.
