Default Hyperlink - delete underline

Hi there,

I need help! I have MS Office Powerpoint 2007.

I created a hypertext with a reference to some other slide. A text with the hyperlink became blue and underlined but I need it to look "normal". I found a tip how to switch the color back but still I'm not able to delete the underline. Who knows what to do?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Savana

Hi, Savana:

Not sure if you still need help with this. Sorry, I just saw your question.

If you do, there's a solution to your problem on Microsoft's website:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/po...010242098.aspx.

Hope it works for you.

Yes, I still need help. Thank you for that link but unfortunately it doesn't work

This is the problem: Click Fill in the left pane, click Color in the right pane, and then click the color that matches the background of your presentation. My current presentation doesn't have a monochromatic background... My background is blue and it melts into white so it's impossible to solve it this way.

Hi, Savana

So sorry to hear it didn't work for you. Maybe try this instead... Follow the steps at the Microsoft website as you did before, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/po...010242098.aspx. But change the background color of the rectangle to "No Fill."

To do this, select the rectangle on your page and select "Format," "Shape Fill" and "No Fill." I believe you've already set the "Shape Outline" under the "Format" tab to "No Fill" as well? If not, change that as well.

This should hopefully do the trick.

Allyson

Yeah! Finally it works!
There was another step I needed to do. If you click "No fill" it's like... no fill You know, when I wanted to click on the hyperlink I couldn't click on the filler of the rectangle. I needed to click just on the edge of the rectangle. Otherwise it didn't work. But the edge of the rectangle is so small so it was almost impossible to click on it. So, I tried to fill it with a color and then set the "Translucence" to 100%. That's it

Thank you very much!!

Problem solved, someone can close this topic.
