Font Color not working in PowerPoint
I can select the text, the font color icon is selectable and allows me to select a color, but the font won't change.
In the same text toolbar, the Bold, Underline, Italics icons work

may be it contains hyperlink, try to block the selected text, remove the hyperlink, and then try to change it color again..
