Default A strange bug regarding letters coloring in an equation

Hello,

I have encountered a very strange bug in PowerPoint:
I have an equation e^(pi i m) (see image).
I would like to color the letter m in some color. When I do it,
save the document, and then close and open it again, the letter "m"
appears not colored (i.e., in black). This happens only if the letter
follows the letter "i".

Any thoughts?
