I have a picture in Powerpoint which I've cropped. The crop position reports the crop at 2.27" left and 0.55" top. Unfortunately, I've lost the original picture. So I'm wondering if it's possible to get it back from PowerPoint. I'd tried changing the crop positions to zero, but that didn't help.
Is is possible to "uncrop" a picture? I'm using Powerpoint 2010 on Windows 7. Thanks, Fred |

Unless you compressed the pics, you might be able to act like you are going to crop the pic, but drag the opposite direction.

The picture was originally cropped in PP 2003, loaded into 2007, and finally into 2010. Is it likely one of those programs compressed the picture, thus losing any ability to recreated it? Fred. |

I don't know, but it doesn't look good.

I agree. I guess the lesson is don't lose originals. Thanks for your help, though.

I don't know if it can be uncropped. Ideally you would have saved it under a
different name. |
