i do have a hyperlink in my power point , when you click on it it will open another power point presentation but as a pps (power point show)

i want the presentation to be opened as a pptx so the user can edit or save the presentation. Is there a way to do this?



in the hyperlink the path i put is xxx.ppts but it opens as a pps slide show.



and is there a way that when the user clicks the hyperlink it will ask him to open or save the linked document/presentation instead of directly opening the presentation..
