I was recently asked to produce a PP presentation as an In Memoriam tribute to a colleague.
I created the ppsx in 2010 which comprised 15 slides each containing just a photograph and a caption, with a fade transition of 5 secs and advancing to the next slide after 4 secs. It was a simple but effective tribute, particularly the subtle fading of each photo into the next. Well it was until it was played to the congregation on Office 2016 - it was so jerky and amateurish I was thoroughly embarrassed to say the least. I have assumed that this was due to differences between the two versions, but on reflection could its behaviour been as a consequence of the .ppsx file being accessed from a Dropbox folder? |
