Hi, thanks for your help. I tried the solution outlined but it didn't work. As soon as I TAB the second time, it takes any text I type past the tab stop and onto the next line.

I've tried to clear tab stops in the Para>TABS menu but it doesn't seem to actually do that. Even when I select the text, the stops don't disappear from the ruler and the text still breaks into the next line.



I can - as you point out - drag a tab stop along the ruler to the right in an attempt to widen the margin, but when I do that, all the tab stops move, which effects the starting point of the line...
