You can add more shapes/lines and group them with the others.
Or you can ungroup the shapes then give the arc portion a shadow. You can even go to the Customize dialog box (commands tab, Drawing category) and find the Shadow Color button and drag it to your Drawing toolbar.
Once you have it like you want, Regroup. You will likely need to ungroup anytime you want to change the shadow.
