Powerpoint 2016 does not copy the text settings from powerpoint 2007 right

When I open in PowerPoint 2016 a PowerPoint file made in Powerpoint 2007 the font size is mauch larger then it was as Original. Also the font setting looks like to be the same. I am using an Acer Aspire ES 15 laptop, presentation was Original made in Compac Presario A900 in Windows 7. How can I avoid this to happen?
