Im using PPT 2007 to create a flow chart , but at the end of the flow chart the direction line will not line up with the center of object above it, I have tryed to format shape and nothing happens, its locked. How do I free-up these direction lines.

Unfortunately you have not given enough information. Using flowchart and creating connection lines is simple and the lines can be created from every point of the object.

Perhaps you could share a picture or something from what you are trying to make.
