I go to insert a picture/image from my files and I get a message on the slide (in the image box) that says "The picture cannot be displayed". It is a pdf image. I created the file on one day and inserted images just fine. I saved the file to finish later and when I came back the next day I found I could not insert any picture files. What gives?


I am relatively new to Powerpoint and I am unable to locate any helps that would get me past this. Whatever assistance anyone can provide would be helpful.

I am having similar problems with Power Point. I can link to some video clips but not others in the same directory and in the same format. My desktop is using version 16.0.7341.2035 and is the one with the problem. My laptop has version 16.0.7167.2060 and has no problem.
