Default Dynamic Tables in the Same View?

Greetings,
I'm trying to create a dynamic PowerPoint including several questions and, when presented, will have the ability select from drop-downs (Yes/No) and input responses in tables--the wrinkle is to be able to select drop-downs AND input data in the same view (Normal or Slide Show). Is there a way to do this? I appreciate any help!

Below is what I've been able to do:
In 'Slide Show' view: I'm able to create drop-downs, but cannot simultaneously input responses in the table.

In 'Normal' view: I can input data in table, but cannot simultaneously have an active drop-down.
