I'll leave this post up here to help somebody coming behind me. My order of animation execution wasn't right. I was having an earlier animation start after a later one. This is why it wouldn't work as a whole. Once I ordered the animations correctly it worked as configured.
------------------------ I have three animations on one object, a video. The three are, Zoom in at 4.75 seconds, play after 5 seconds, and bounce out after 21 seconds. The video is 15 seconds long. The first animation is not taking, although everything looks good in the animation settings pane. Everything is set to start With Previous. I'm in the Animation Pane on the right and selecting the correct animation for the object. Is there a troubleshooter I could import this into that could granularity let me know where in the process I'm making an error? I pored over it; I can't see why the first animation is not taking. When I ytest the animation itself it works as configured. But when I do a show preview it doesn't. i tried removing and reading the animation; still not taking. I'll remove it completely and start over; that generally fixes it. If this forum would allow me to post screen shots of my work this would greatly aid in troubleshooting. For anybody who wants to do this on a regular basis I would highly recommend MOS certification for Power Point. Stepping through the training for this certification will certainly alleviate any ambiguity. Thank you. Last edited by Aymincendiary; 01-27-2016 at 06:30 AM.
