Since Upgrading to Windows 10 PowewrPoint files sent by email will not open

Can anyone help. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I am unable to open PowerPoint files sent by email both those sent from Windows 10 and earlier versions. Opening the same email in Windows 7 is fine. Whether I send from another computer or the same computer using Windows Live Mail in Windows 10 or webmail makes no differences all received files are corrupt when receiving in a Windows 10 machine.

I'm wondering if I have to revert to Windows 7 as I had no problems then.
