Delete layout slide

To find out what slides are using what masters, use the pull-out view on the left in slide master view. when you click on a master, it should tell you what slides are being used by that master.

Then for those slides, apply a different layout, then see if you can delete it.

OK, where do I find the "pullout view on the left in slide master view"?????? I see each of the slide masters but where is the "pullout view"??

I'm working in PowerPoint 2013.

In 2013 jus hover the mouse over the layout and it should say what lides are using it.
