Changes to Excel Attachment in PowerPoint gone

Hi there

Do you have any suggestions please? I opened my excel document which is an object in a powerpoint presentation saved on my computer. I opened the excel from the ppt and made many changes without saving this. In a LiveMeeting I shared the Excel document and made a few more changes. Then I stopped sharing the excel document, closed down livemeeting and now the excel document is gone along wih all the changes. Is there anything at all I can do to retrieve this? There are no temp files or any recovery files available. It probably is gone but can anyone give me a glimmer of hope please?
