Grow / Shrink: Resulting animation to exact location on next slide

The challenge I face...
Animating a graphic using grow/shrink from 100% down to 50%. I have not found a solution for getting that 50% graphic (end result of slide 01) placed on slide 02 in exactly the same location as the previous. I have come close using guess work but there is always a bit of a jump when advancing to the next slide.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!
