PowerPoint removed unreadable content
I was working on a 32-slide PowerPoint with multiple pictures on each page. When I opened it tonight to continue working, a message came up saying that PowerPoint removed unreadable content. All images were gone as well as the background. The text remained. Each image had the x with the message that the image could not currently be displayed.
Is there a way to restore this presentation?

Have you been working on it for several days? If so right click the icon > Restore Previous Versions. (There may not be any)
Check the file size. Does it look like the pictures are still there somewhere (ie it is many Mb)?

PowerPoint removed unreadable content
Thank you, JohnWilson, for your reply. I tried restoring previous versions, but it appears that there are no previous versions even though I did work on it for several days. The size of the file is now 121 kb, so it appears that the images are no longer there.

If it's 127 k then the images have gone. There's been a long standing similar problem in 2013 but I've not seen it in 2010,
