I’m trying to add narration to my PowerPoint 2010 presentation. The built-in narration tools are unsuitable because there isn’t a way to edit it. So, I used Audacity to create the narrations and CDex to convert them to wave files.
All are in the same folder as the PowerPoint. They are inserted [embed] in each slide with a duration of 999. Each plays fully except when I switch to Slide Show. Then the play for each only lasts 4 seconds. Ideally, it would be nice for them to play as narrations. But, they need to play in their entirety. If I could replace the PowerPoint narration files with my wav files it would be perfect. |

Instead of putting individual wav files on each slide can't you have one wav file and have it play across slides? then time your slides to the wav file.

There is no way to set the duration of a wav to 999 so I guess you mean stop after 999 slides.
This is not what you need select until end of slide and try that. |
