Default Powerpoint 2010 - Inserting scrollable excel data

Hi,
I am trying to imbed a long list of information from excel into powerpoint so that it will scroll through on a single slide.

I know that in previous versions this was possible by going to developer -more controls, and selecting Microsoft Office Spreadsheet 11.0 but this is not an option in 2010.
Can anyone help?
Thank you, JN
