Hi everyone. Is to possible to extract images from powerpoint 2011 (mac) and keep the original filenames.
I can extract images but each image has been annotated with image1.jpeg, image2.jpeg etc.. I have found scripts here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7...owerpoint-file but I'm unsure how this works? can some help please? lister |

Hi Lister
I'm not a Mac user buyt I guess this is still the same as a PC In 2007 on a PC (2008 I guess) The XML stored the original name of the image. You did not need code to view it it was in Alt Text. In later versions the original image name is not stored at all. The code you posted is C# and would need to be complied in eg Visual studio (ie for the average user it's useless and in any case the information is no longer present) Even in 2007 it was pretty well impossible to relate Image1 etc to the real names and it's not possible at all in 2010. |
