Default Remove layout from previous theme

Hi,

I try to get rid of a layout of a previous theme used.
I'll try to explain :
I have a PPT file which uses a theme named BLUE.
I need to change the Theme BLUE by RED.
I open the file, go in DESIGN tab and click on theme RED.
The new theme is applied everywhere. Up to now everything is perfect.

Then I go to in HOME tab, SLIDES section. LAYOUT drop down menu.
I want to add a slide by choosing one of the layout from RED.
Here is the problem: I still have all the layouts of BLUE theme. I don't want them, I want the layout of RED theme only.

It seems that each time you change theme, PPT keep all the layouts of the previous.

How can I remove layout from the previous theme?

thanks
