Post Multiple Action On Hyperlink

Hi All,

Wondered if I could get some help on the following. I doubt its possible but dont use Powerpoint enough to know.

So I have multiple Powerpoint slides that shows details of a Presentation thats about to take place, This is hyperlinked to open the file containing the presentation. Is it possible to get it that I click the Hyperlink to open the New Presentation but also on my slides it advances to the next slide with details of the next talk. Instead of the talk finishing then me having to advance slide when completed.

Sorry if I haven't explained this very well, Can try explain better if required.

Thanks
Simon

Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears you want the hyperlink to open the linked presentation and then advance to the next slide in your current presentation at the same time? This is very possible.

I have to disagree. UInless you are using code I don't think it is possible to have two hyperlink actions. Maybe Excelled can explain how it is possible.

It would be possible to have just one slide in the menu presentation with all of the link shapes stacked so only the top link shows.

One shape CAN trigger the link AND make itself invisible with an exit animation.

just to be clear I'm saying (and I'm happy for Excelled to show me I'm wrong) that

"you want the hyperlink to open the linked presentation and then advance to the next slide in your current presentation at the same time?" Is not possible (without coding)

It is possible to have a shape run a link AND a triggered animation and you might be able to use this but it won't move to the next slide automatically.

Hi john,

I get what you were saying and what you suggested, I like you was waiting to see if Excelled could explain how as they have stated it is possible.
