Is it possible to get it that I click the Hyperlink to open the New Presentation but also on my slides it advances to the next slide with details of the next talk. Instead of the talk finishing then me having to advance slide when completed.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears you want the hyperlink to open the linked presentation and then advance to the next slide in your current presentation at the same time? This is very possible.
