I can't think of any explanation for why this is happening - the text is all in one element of the original .eps file, and is entirely visible whenever I preview the image, yet only the top line of the text is visible in the imported file, while the bottom line of text vanishes. The text is all in the same font, size, colour etc, with no style changes between the top and bottom lines.
Is this one of those things that just happens sometimes with files of this type, or is there a step that I've missed? Is there a shortcut I can use to get round the problem, without making the image resolution worse?

I recall having issues with eps files in the past, although they may work better in current versions of PPT. One suggestion I may make is to convert all text to outlines in Illustrator and see if this works better when imported into PPT.
