Default Problem importing .eps files

I have designed a vector graphic logo for a course in Adobe Illustrator, and saved it as a .eps file. I now want to import the image into PowerPoint so that the logo appears on several slides in my presentation. Although the file imports OK, some of the text element disappears, leaving me with half a logo!

I can't think of any explanation for why this is happening - the text is all in one element of the original .eps file, and is entirely visible whenever I preview the image, yet only the top line of the text is visible in the imported file, while the bottom line of text vanishes. The text is all in the same font, size, colour etc, with no style changes between the top and bottom lines.

Is this one of those things that just happens sometimes with files of this type, or is there a step that I've missed? Is there a shortcut I can use to get round the problem, without making the image resolution worse?
